Agora Takeover the Tap at the Kings
Friday knock off drinks have just reached another level with Agora producers, Barossa Valley Brewing, Loophole, Beer No Evil and Seppeltsfield Road Distillers joining forces to reward patrons with free beer and gin as they take over the bar at the Kings Head Hotel.
The regions come to the city as these craft beverage masters are joined by other artisans’ producer in the Agora family. The Agora app rewards customers with points which can be redeemed for free beer, just for posting their experiences on their social media pages.
Denham D’Silva, Founder, Agora is looking forward to watching these amazing small producers engage directly with customers at an Adelaide hospitality icon which has been brought back to life under new ownership.
“This is a twist on the tried and tested tap takeover and is a great way to connect drinkers to new beers,” said Denham D’Silva.
“This event will have the only keg outside the Barossa to have Barossa Valley Brewing’s limited Wet Hop NEIPA. This tipple from the Barossa will be joined by great brews Loop Hole and Beer No Evil, and let’s not forget Seppeltsfield gin. The producers tend to relax and share their products with customers, it’s always a fun evening.”
Whilst sitting back to enjoy a craft beer or a gin punters will be encouraged to download and share the experience on the Agora Gourmet App.
Recently, launched, Agora encourages the app user to create a social media post about the product they’re consuming (made by any of a series of small producers listed on the app) and tagged either at one of the participating venues.
The post can either be shared to Facebook through the app, or a link generated by the app can be copied and pasted other platforms such as Instagram. Each post accrues 20 points and 100 points will get you a free beer!
On Friday evening at the Kings Head Hotel, every download of the app live at the venue received a FREE beer as thank you for the support and the first post tagging product and venue is rewarded with another free beer!

Media Notes
Agora Gourmet App The Agora Gourmet App is a radically disruptive platform that supports small businesses and artisanal local producers. The app rewards customers with the accrual of points (right now, with free beer) for social media posts which allows these businesses to grow and support their communities. The Agora mission is to even the playing field and allow artisanal producers the ability to compete with large scale mass producers.
